South Tyrol entered hard lockdown on 8th February: The numbers are still going in the wrong direction, thus compelling the Health Authorities to take yesterday’s decision (08/02) to cancel all sporting events which had previously been categorised as “in the national interest” and, until yesterday, permissible in South Tyrol. Unfortunately, the Gsieser Tal Lauf is one of these events.
For this reason, the Organising Committee have decided to postpone the event until 6th/7th March, in the hopes that the situation will improve and the event will be authorised. The final decision we make on february, 26th.
If you have already registered but are unable to take part on the alternative dates, your registration fee will be automatically carried forward for the 2022 event. In this case, it is not necessary for participants to contact us. The regulations also stipulate that participants are entitled to a full (100%) refund of their registration fees. In this case, please send us a short email with your BIC (Swift code) and IBAN numbers.
