In accordance with the FISI/FIS Anti-Covid regulations in force at the current moment, the following measures will be implemented during the 2021 Gsiesertal Lauf.

MANDATORY MASKS

  • Masks must be worn in all competition areas (neck gaiters are not sufficient).
  • Masks do not have to be worn during the race. 1 minute before starting, competitors may remove face masks and place them in their own packet.
  • At the finishing line, the organisers will provide each participant with a fresh surgical mask.
  • We are a Green Event and, as such, all masks must be disposed of in the bins provided.

TEMPERATURE CHECK

  • At the entrance to the Race Office (Bib pickup, waxing service, medal collection for each age group)
  • and at the entrance to the starting area

Your body temperature will be checked. If a competitor has a body temperature of over 37.5°C, they will not be permitted to collect a bib or to take part in the race.

REGISTRATION

Participants can register either

  • ONLINE by Wednesday 03.03.2021, 23.59 pm, or by
  • Bank transfer by Monday 01.03.2021
    NB: It will not be possible to register on-site

START GROUPS CT / FT

There will be a number of start groups, each with 100 people, who will start in 3-minute intervals.

FINISHING AREA

  • On leaving the finishing area, the organisers will provide each participant with a surgical mask.
  • The transponder in the bib is disposable and must not be handed back to the organisers.

AWARD CEREMONY

The award ceremony will not take place in its customary form this year. For this reason:

  • The winners‘ trophies each day will be presented during a “Flower Ceremony” in the finishing area
  • The medals for the first three competitors for each age group will be distributed from 1 pm to 3 pm in the race office (Civic Hall)
  • The prize money (Premium Sprints and Official Standings) will be awarded at 1 pm in the race office (Civic Hall).

REFRESHMENT AREAS + LUNCH

  • Snacks and drinks in sealed packaging will be provided at the 7 refreshment areas along the route. During the race, we recommend that participants bring their own water bottle.
  • In place of the customary lunch in the finishing area, each participant will receive a top-quality packed lunch to take away.

SANITARY FACILITIES

  • The 7 WCs will be disinfected continuously.
  • Participants may not use the changing rooms and showers this year.

ACCOMODATION

From Monday 08.02.2021, South Tyrol will be returning to a hard lockdown. We would like to inform you that hotel accommodation is still open to participants. This does not extend to family members.

SELF-DECLARATION HEALTH FORM

Participants must submit a Covid self-declaration health form when picking up bibs.
